Why Should you Go To Church?

Many Christians will talk about the different ways to observe the Lord’s Day.  There is no doubt however, as to whether people of faith should take seriously the significance of a special day of rest and worship. After all it is one of the Ten Commandments and therefore not just a ‘good idea’.

Sunday should be regarded as the best day of the week, if it is not, you should check out your attitude to Sunday. God knows what is best and if He needed to rest after all the work of creation then we most certainly need to.

Maybe not surprisingly a new study shows that people who attend church weekly live an average seven years longer than those who never attend a worship service! In trying to explain why this could be possible, researchers suggest the fact that churches to advocate a healthier lifestyle with the absence of smoking and drinking.

People may attend worship ‘now and again’ just out of tradition or even curiosity, but the thing that will keep them coming back time and again is the awareness that it makes a difference in their lives.

We often underestimate how crucial rest is for us until we go without it for a period of time. In today’s fast paced life, it seems one of the greatest needs is for people to slow down and rest and worship.

Maybe we all need reminding the by proper Sunday observance we will greatly contribute to the productivity and quality of the rest of our days.
